Mid-Range Pan/Tilt Multi-Sensor

The Ranger® MS-UC DefendIR is an industry-leading mid-range thermal imager that can see in complete darkness and through a multitude of environmental conditions, including smoke, rain, snow, dust, and dense fog. The Ranger DefendIR is ideally suited for day and night perimeter security, maritime surveillance, and DHS/DoD applications. The ruggedized housing is environmentally sealed and certified to meet NEMA4X and IP66 specifications, standing up to the most challenging weather and temperature conditions.

Mid-Range Pan/Tilt Multi-Sensor with Spotlight

The Ranger MS-UC EnforcIR™ is a unique deterrence system that builds on the impressive capabilities of the DefendIR™. Along with a daylight/low-light CCD camera and an uncooled VOx thermal imager, the Ranger MS-UC EnforcIR adds a high power spotlight to detect, deter, and temporarily disorient intruders. In fact, its 12 million candlepower spotlight can illuminate trespassers within a one-mile radius — ideal for perimeter security, border surveillance, crowd control, deterrence, and SAR operations.

Ranger® R2

Mid-Range Perimeter Surveillance Radar

The Ranger® R2 is a high-resolution radar that accurately detects personnel and vehicles at a range of up to 1,400 m. This ground-based radar works in virtually any climate, weather, or lighting condition, providing 24/7 security. Additional units — such as a short-range Ranger® R1 — can be networked in an overlapping array to protect larger areas, stitching together an impassable radar area outside and inside your perimeter.

Ranger® R20SS-3D-XR

Air and Ground Drone Surveillance Radar

The new Ranger® R20SS-3D-XR detects micro UAS targets to 3 km and more, pedestrians up to 8 km out, and light vehicles up to 15 km out. Scan mode options include fixed sector and alternating sectors with an optional pan-tilt mount for a full 360°. For optimal performance, a 4-panel option is offered that can provide a 2-Hz refresh rate on a full 360 degree azimuth coverage. Fast 2-Hz refresh improves detection and tracking of micro drones. AI based automatic target classification greatly filters out unwanted targets and focuses on potential threats.

Ranger® R3

Long-Range Perimeter Surveillance Radar

The Ranger® R3 is a high-resolution radar that accurately detects personnel and vehicles at a range of up to 2,800 meters in virtually any climate, weather, or lighting condition to provide 24/7 security. Able to scan 360° every second to monitor more than 24 square kilometers (9.6 square miles), it can be integrated in an overlapping array with a variety of other radar and EO/IR units to conform to terrain profiles and protect larger areas such as borders.

Ranger® R3D

Long-Range Perimeter Surveillance Doppler Radar

The Ranger R3D is a dual mode, ground surveillance radar designed to provide efficient, 24/7 persistent surveillance, both within and beyond the fence. Operating in the Ka-band, the Ranger R3D leverages the resolution and accuracy of advanced FMCW technology and the extended range and terrain adaptability of Doppler in a single, compact, and lightweight package. Ruggedized for permanent, all-weather installations and mobile, stop-and-scan operations, its low minimum detection velocity (MDV) detects slow-moving threats such as walkers and crawlers.

Ranger® R5

Long range, high resolution Perimeter surveillance Radar

The Ranger® R5 is a ground-based radar, designed to withstand the rigors of a desert environment. Providing 24/7 security to ranges of up to 5,000 meters, the Ranger R5 scans a full 360° every second, effectively monitoring up to 78 square kilometers (30 square miles). Multiple units can be installed with overlapping coverage areas to protect larger areas such as borders. Network with FLIR EO/IR imagers to initiate slew-to-cue capability.

Ranger® R5D

Long range, high resolution Perimeter Surveillance Doppler Radar

The Ranger® R5D is a dual mode, ground surveillance radar designed specifically for the environmental conditions common to the Middle East region. As a dual mode radar, the Ranger R5D uses FMCW modulation and can be operated in either Fast Scan or Doppler mode with a Fast Scan range up to 5km. Low minimum detection velocity (MDV), high resolution, and advanced tracking algorithms result in low false alarm rates.

Man-Portable Mid-Range Ground Surveillance Radar

Man-portable Ranger® R8SS electronically-scanned, mid-range radars detect and track personnel and vehicles up to 18 kilometer ranges. Light and small, the Ranger R8SS provides best-in-class target detection and acquisition performance in a form factor that fits in a backpack or is easily mounted to a vehicle or permanent structure as part of an integrated solution. The low false alarm rate and extremely reliable operation builds operator trust and yields high operational availability.

Ranger® R8SS-3D

Air and Ground Drone Surveillance Panel Radar

The man-portable Ranger® R8SS-3D has the vertical coverage, low minimum detection velocity and algorithms to detect and track up to 500 drone targets simultaneously, while filtering bird detections. The R8SS-3D can monitor the coverage area four times per second, running 24/7, detecting all ground and aerial threats in virtually any climate, day and night. Compact and lightweight, it fits in a backpack, draws only 135W, while costing much less than its vehicle-sized counterparts.

The Ranger HRC is a high-resolution mid-wave thermal imaging system built around a large format 640x512 array and a choice of powerful continuous-zoom telescopes. Available in its standalone, environmentally hardened enclosure, the system can also integrate an optional high-magnification CCD-TV camera, laser rangefinder, and digital magnetic compass.

Portable, Mid-Range, Pan/Tilt Multi-Sensor with Spotlight

The Ranger MS Illuminator is a unique deterrence system that combines a daylight/low-light CCD camera with a high-power spotlight to detect, deter and immobilize intruders. The spotlight illuminator is available in 12 million-candlepower (MCP), and can detect and temporarily disorient intruders within a one-mile radius. When paired with a FLIR millimeter wave radar, it becomes a powerful addition for detecting and visibly illuminating intruders, showing security forces where to respond.

Equipped with a day/low-light CCD camera and cooled InSb thermal imager, the Ranger MS-LRTI adds a high-power spotlight to detect, deter and temporarily disorient intruders. The 12 million candlepower spotlight can illuminate trespassers within a one-mile radius. With continuous thermal optical zoom, the Ranger MS-LRTI meets the requirements for any mission, from wide-area surveillance to long-range threat identification.

Ranger® R1

Short-Range Perimeter Surveillance Radar

The Ranger® R1 is a ground-based perimeter surveillance and tracking radar that accurately detects personnel and vehicles at a range of up to 700 m. It scans a full 360° every second, covering up to 1.5 square km (0.6 square miles). Additional units — such as a mid-range Ranger® R2 — can be networked in an overlapping array to protect larger areas, stitching together an impassable radar area outside and inside your perimeter.

Ranger® R20SS

Long-Range, High Resolution Target Detection Radar

The Ranger® R20SS is a ground and coastal surveillance radar specifically designed to detect and track personnel and vehicles within a 20-km range. With its solid-state electronic scanning capability and fast 2-Hz refresh rate, the Ranger R20SS delivers best-in-class target detection and acquisition performance. Because it operates in the X-band, R20SS is minimally affected by adverse weather or precipitation. It scans a +/-90° area twice per second with low false alarm rate.

The man-portable Ranger® R6SS is an electronic scanning, long-range radar specifically designed to detect and track personnel and vehicles within a 10-km range. Situational Understanding Mission Intelligent Technology

The SUMIT360™ provides military armored vehicle operators with an innovative, 360 degree view of the environment around the vehicle utilizing advanced sensor technology to improve threat and obstacle detection that could pose a threat to ground forces, and their mission. Equipped with powerful multi-spectral sensors in each module, the system uses on-board processing to form seamless, stitched images to provide a full field of view in any terrain, and virtually any conditions, day or night. With additional target detection and identification capability, the system can also be paired with advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide vehicle crew, and transported troops a threat detection and classification to provide critical decision support before opening the hatch. The system also provides the ability to support remote or optionally manned configurations.

The TacFLIR 240 is a new and advanced system ready to meet the ISR needs for both land vehicle applications and fixed installations. Designed to meet the demands of military operations, the system delivers best-in-class EO/IR imagery in a lightweight turret with superior image processing. TacFLIR 240 provides a unique and customizable onscreen user interface (UI) which can be based on mission or operator preferences, reduce screen clutter, and minimize distractions. Compact and lightweight, the TacFLIR 240 delivers exceptional target recognition and a built-in IMU will give operators stabilized imagery, and target location accuracy for mission confidence.

TacFLIR® 240-EP

Medium-Range HD Multi-Spectral Surveillance System

TacFLIR 240-EP is an advanced land-based sensor designed to meet a variety of applications for military and federal law enforcement. Containing the same HD payload options within its lightweight stabilized turret as the TacFLIR 240, but also Extensible Processing (EP) capabilities which are hosted by the Control Electronics Unit (CEU). The system supports advanced image-processing like Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX®), Adaptive Temporal Filtering (ATF) and Advanced Local Area Processing (ALAP) via a high-performance computing engine and dedicated graphics processor unit (GPU). Multi-sensor capabilities like HD thermal, HD daylight and HD low light camera options, alongside eye-safe laser range finder and laser pointer assist with best-in-class detection, recognition and identification (DRI) help meet evolving threats and mission challenges.

TacFLIR® 380-HD

Long range HD Multi-spectral Surveillance System (Single LRU)

The TacFLIR 380-HD is a state-of-the-art ISTAR sensor designed for land vehicle applications. Identical to airborne and maritime versions of the Star SAFIRE 380-HD, TacFLIR 380-HD goes further with other sealings and shock mounts for land vehicle environments. Payloads include a MWIR camera with a native 1280x720 resolution, HD CCD cameras, HD SWIR camera, a laser range finder, and a laser pointer. Four-axis stabilization gives the TacFLIR 380-HD unmatched geolock and target tracking capabilities.
