Windows 8.1 users may experience crashes with a GigE filter driver while in low power mode

This article explains how Windows 8.1 users with the Point Grey GigE Filter driver installed may experience a system crash.

CAUSE:

Users who have installed Windows 8.1 without updates and are using the GigE filter driver may experience a system crash when the computer enters a low power state. Windows 8.1 updates resolve this issue.
