FLIR’s Dr. David Cullin to Moderate JPEO-CBD JPM Panel at NDIA CBRN Defense Conference

By: David Cullin, FLIR Detection, Vice President of Research, Development, and Programs

I am honored to be serving in my second year of a three-year term as Chairman of the Chemical Biological Defense Acquisition Initiatives Forum (CBDAIF). CBDAIF provides an open forum for the exchange of Government and Industry views related to the Department of Defense (DOD) chemical-biological defense mission area. It offers an unbiased platform for bridging communication between commercial organizations like FLIR, by facilitating an open dialogue regarding policies, procedures, actions, and issues. CBDAIF is organized with sector leads from the major commodity areas supporting the Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP).

At this year’s NDIA Annual CBRN Defense Conference, I’ll be moderating a panel discussion with the Joint Program Managers (JPMs) who execute the Chemical and Biological Defense Program’s acquisition portfolio. I’ve solicited questions and topics from our colleagues across the CBDP industrial base that will make for a lively and informative conversation.

The NDIA Annual CBRN Defense Conference and Exhibition is co-sponsored by JPEO-CBD and runs August 15 and 16, 2017 in Wilmington, Delaware at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. The JPEO-CBD Panel will take place August 16 from 8:45AM—9:45AM. For those attending the conference, make sure to visit FLIR booth #302 in the exhibit hall to see our latest CBRN solutions. The full conference agenda can be accessed here.
