New Software Update for Griffin G510
Teledyne FLIR is pleased to announce a new software release for the Griffin G510 GC/MS (gas chromatograph mass spectrometer). This software update, 4.1.3.0 is available to all G510 customers.
This software update contains Turbo Fault Recovery, Saturation Detection, and various bug fixes.
Turbo Fault Recovery
A faulting turbo required a restart of the system prior to GSS 4.1.3.0.
Now, if a turbo faults (such as due to over heating) it will take the
system into a powered down state and present a diagnostic message.
The turbo fault will auto clear upon power up if possible.
Saturation Detection
Saturation detection has been added for the G510 and G510E.
Saturated areas of a result will be shown with a blue overlay on the
Chromatogram as well as a “SAT” message on any saturated targets.
This information will also be reflected in the GSSL1T reports.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved a potential application lockup when running
Conditioning methods. - Added a check on the Conditioning page to prevent a negative
value from being set on the TIC. - Peaks were not scaled properly on extracted and library
spectrum graphs in the GSSL1T result report when run in SIM
mode. - Changed to Display Idle time now take effect without a
software restart.
