How can I activate a FLIR ResearchIR 4 license for a PC without internet access?

First, you'll need to download the RUS Tool from a PC with internet access and save this to a USB drive.

From the offline PC:

1. Run the RUS Tool.
2. Click "Collect Information" and save the C2V file to the USB drive.

From the online PC:

1. Visit the ResearchIR License Portal 
2. Enter your ResearchIR license code and click "Login".
3. Enter your registration information, or click the "already registered" option and enter your e-mail.
4. Click the "Offline Activation" button.
5. Load the C2V file created from the offline PC.
6. Click the "Generate" button to create a V2C file, and save this to the USB drive.

From the offline PC:

1. Run the RUS Tool.
2. Click the "Apply License File" tab.
3. Upload the V2C file from the USB drive and click "Apply Update".
4. Now ResearchIR should start and skip the product activation step.
